All-on-X Dental implants are a special way to replace missing teeth. Instead of getting one implant for each missing tooth, a few implants (usually 4 or more) are placed in your jaw to support a full set of new teeth. It's like building a strong bridge with solid support beams, making sure your new teeth are stable and won't move around.
Unlike implants are great because they give you a full, beautiful smile quickly. You don't need one implant for each tooth, which saves time and money. Plus, they are strong and last a long time, letting you eat, talk, and smile confidently.
A dental implant is an artificial root made of titanium metal that serves as a substitute for the root of a missing tooth. The top of the implant is attached to an artificial tooth (crown), resulting in a beautiful natural-looking replacement tooth.

Dentures usually are fitted with an attachment that clicks to top of implant and stay secure. No up, down or sideways movements occur providing well fitted dentures that work much more efficiently than one with dental implant.

Unlike traditional dentures that can slip and need regular adjustments, these implants stay in place and you can feel just like having your natural teeth back. This means you can laugh freely, speak clearly, and eat whatever you want without worry.

He’s eager to welcome you into his Roslyn oral surgery office, and below, you can learn a little more about Dr. Yusupov’s background.
Dr. Yusupov always wanted to be in medicine, and dentistry caught his attention for multiple reasons. It would allow him to be a doctor and use critical thinking, and at the same time, he would get to work with his hands every day to make lasting, positive impacts on his patients’ lives. He says that the face is what represents the person, and being able to repair and modify it through oral surgery is enormously rewarding.
Dr. Yusupov attended Queens College and graduated with a B.A. with honors in 2007. He then went on to the NYU College of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. with high honors in 2011, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. Following graduation, he continued his education by entering the oral and maxillofacial surgical residency training program at the SUNY Downstate Health Science Center/Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. After obtaining his M.D. in 2014, Dr. Yusupov completed a one-year general surgery training at SUNY Downstate, which gave him experience in a wide variety of cases, including trauma and critical care management to cosmetic plastic surgery.
Then, Dr. Yusupov went on to complete subspecialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He was appointed as the Chief Resident at Kings County Hospital Center starting in July 2016 through June 2017. During this year, he was awarded resident of the year by his colleagues. While there, his training included extensive facial trauma reconstruction, surgical management of dentofacial deformities, dentoalveolar surgery, and benign maxillofacial pathology.
Dr. Yusupov then went on to train with some of the leaders in the field of head and neck oncologic surgery, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and base of skull surgery at the prestigious NY Head and Neck Institute. In his fellowship, Dr. Yusupov had the privilege of working closely with the past presidents of the American Head and Neck Society as well as the North American Skull Base Society. Additionally, he trained with one of the founding fathers of modern orthognathic surgery and other leaders for head, face, and neck surgery.
Currently, Dr. Yusupov practices extended scope oral and maxillofacial Surgery with an emphasis on head and neck surgery in his private practice. He is also the newly appointed Director of Maxillofacial Oncology within the Department of Otolaryngology at the Staten Island University Hospital.

Dr. Yunov Born and raised in Queens, NY, has been part of the world of dentistry for a decade and counting. For him, the best thing about his work is having the unique opportunity to transform a person’s smile and overall quality of life through personalized dental care. Ensuring that people can undergo their essential treatments to turn an otherwise bad experience into something positive and painless is very important to him, and he looks forward to every day he gets the chance to help improve someone’s situation. Keep reading to learn a little more about his background and education.
Dr. Yunov decided to become a dentist back when he first witnessed his first dental extraction when he was 17 years old. He was surprised to see the true size of a person’s tooth compared to what he imagined them to look like. Other than discovering the actual structure of a human tooth, the main thing that caught his attention was the complete transition from pain and panic in a patient to that of pain-free relief after finishing their procedure. He later decided to pursue a career as a dentist as the ideal profession for him, and the rest is history!
First attending Queens College, City University of New York for his bachelor's degree, Dr. Yunov later went on to study at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine for his dental doctorate. He also completed six years of an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency as well as five years in a private dental practice.
Dr. Yunov remains passionate about continuing education to expand his skills, and he’s even a proud and active member of professional organizations:
American Dental Association
New York Dental Association
New Jersey Dental Association
American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons

The procedure typically takes a few hours, but it might require several visits for planning and follow-ups. Many patients can have temporary teeth placed on the same day as the surgery.
The procedure is done under anesthesia, so you won't feel pain during the surgery. After the procedure, you might feel some discomfort, but this can be managed with medication.
With proper care, All-on-X Implants can last a lifetime. Regular dental check-ups and good oral hygiene are essential for their longevity.
Most people who are missing several teeth can get implants. However, a dentist needs to evaluate your overall health and bone structure to ensure you're a good candidate.
All-on-X implants are more stable and comfortable than dentures. They don't slip or need adhesive, and they help maintain the bone structure of your jaw, keeping your face looking natural.
